Mundine Means Business, a national program highlighting the success and entrepreneurship of Australia’s Indigenous society, recently visited RISE-Ngurratjuta to see the Community Development Program in action. Warren Mundine met with local representatives and community members to learn more about training, employment and business opportunities for the communities in this region.
A Community Development Program in the South West Alice Region is providing community activities to help train and create employment pathways for local people.
The program is currently being delivered across three communities – Mutitjulu, Kaltukatjara, Imanpa.
A national employment services provider, RISE Ventures and local company Ngurratjuta/Pmara Ntjarra Aboriginal Corporation joins forces in South West Alice Region. RISE-Ngurratjuta will provide employment, training, business enterprise development and leadership for local youth engagement.
