Kempton is from Mutitjulu, who went on a work experience day at Voyages, where he was identified as an ideal candidate for a traineeship with Voyages.
On the 2nd of September, he applied for a NAIDA traineeship in Horticulture at Voyages Resort Yulara. On the 7th of September, he attended his first-ever interview, which he was very nervous about. RN Employment conducted several mock interviews; this support gave Kempton more confidence. Feedback from Voyages from Kempton’s interview was that he did very well and they were impressed.
On the 14th of September, Kempton was informed that he had been successful in gaining one of the traineeships. Only 15 people are accepted in each intake from around Australia. On the 22nd of September, Kempton completed his phone assessment which took 1 hour, which he passed with flying colours.
Next was his big move to Yulara on the 26th of September, which the team from RN Employment helped him with. Kempton has his accommodation in a complex with all the other trainees.
In addition to all the recruitment processes for his new role, the RN team worked with Kempton to successfully gain his Provisional Driver’s licence. Kempton is the first young Mutitjulu man to gain his Provisional licence in the past two years.
Everyone is so very proud of him and we all know Kempton will be successful with what he aims for now and into the future. Huge congratulations from all of us at RN Employment.
