The Mutitjulu Jobs Expo was held at the old Adult Education Centre building in the Mutitjulu Community on the 22nd April 2021. The focus of the Employment Expo was about available jobs within the region.

The event was well attended by over 150 community members and also by various stakeholders including Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park, and Government officials.

Community members received Expo show bags full of goodies from all the stakeholders.
The Mutitjulu School enabled children to come to the Jobs Expo for the BBQ lunch, and they were surprised by a Jumping Castle kindly supplied by MCAC (Mutitjulu Community Aboriginal Corporation) for the children.

The BBQ was provided and cooked by the Mutitjulu Rangers program.

The highlight for Kenny Hewson, Business Manager for Region 21 – was meeting stakeholders, building relationships, and putting faces to voices, especially after COVID restrictions. The event was a great networking opportunity for all who attended.

Thanks to all our team and stakeholders for making this event possible.
