Welcome to Mutitjulu

Mutitjulu is an Aboriginal community at the eastern end of Uluru. It is named after a knee-shaped waterfilled rock hole at the base of Uluru, located in the world-famous Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Kungas Arts and Crafts undertake creative design, sewing and seamstress skills and will create a small self-managed community garden. We will be publishing a recipe book based on healthy eating printed in both English, Yankunytjatjara and Ngaatjatjarra. Dreamtime Solutions have been engaged to deliver an eight-week project that will aide our participants with key skills to finish these projects.

Mutitjulu Community Development and Work Skills solely focuses on community consultation and input to determine the projects to be completed by RN Employment Services and the job seekers engaged within this activity. Several small projects throughout the community, including Fencing, Painting and erection of signage. The activity works closely with the Mutitjulu Community Aboriginal Corporation to ensure all community members are assisted when required with home maintenance and sports ground upkeep.
